Parashat Vayera, The One whom Avraham is speaking to.

Bereshit / Genesis 18:1 Now the Lord appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, while he
was sitting at the tent door in the heat of the day.  18:2 When he lifted up his eyes and looked, behold, three
men were standing opposite him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself to the
earth, (NASB)
 
The significance of these opening passages to Parashat Vayera Bereshit / Genesis 18:1-22:24 revolves around the
question of whether or not the One whom Avraham speaks to is the eternal Almighty God and what are the implications for
our understanding of Yeshua the Messiah.  In our study for this week, to determine the answer to the question of
who Avraham is speaking to we will be looking at Ginsburg’s Masoretic text and the Greek Septuagint (LXX).
