John 7:19
יט הֲלֹא מֹשֶׁה נָתַן לָכֶם אֶת הַתּוֹרָה וְאֵין אִישׁ מִכֶּם מְקַיֵּם אֶת הַתּוֹרָה. מַדּוּעַ אַתֶּם מְבַקְּשִׁים לַהֲרֹג אוֹתִי?״
John 7:19
19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? (KJV)
The Torah defines murder stating you shall not murder in the ten commandments. Here Yeshua knew their intentions and wanted to kill him. Here in John 7:19 Yeshua used the Torah to defend Himself. Note that we still use these verses today indicating how the Torah had not passed away!
