John 5:8โ9
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. 9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the Sabbath. (KJV)
Here in John 5:8 Yeshua healed a lame man on the Shabbat. The Pharisees objected to the healing of the man because it was done on the Sabbath day. However, as we had stated previously, doing good on the Shabbat is a Torah centric principle valid even today! The Torah has not passed away!ย
