Ephesians 6:1–2

Exodus 20:12

Deuteronomy 5:16
16 ‘Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you on the land which the Lord your God gives you. (NASB)
The most important observation about Paul is that everything that he teaches is sourced from the Torah! Here Paul quotes from Exodus 20:12 and Deuteronomy 5:16 in Ephesians 6:2 to emphasize the importance of children honoring their parents. The Torah has not passed away.
