Ephesians 5:31–32
לא ״עַל–כֵּן יַעֲזָב–אִישׁ אֶת–אָבִיו וְאֶת–אִמּוֹ וְדָבַק בְּאִשְׁתּוֹ, וְהָיוּ לְבָשָׂר אֶחָד.״ (בראשית ב׳ כד׳) לב גָדוֹל הָרָז הַזֶּה, וַאֲנִי מִתְכַּוֵּן לַמָּשִׁיחַ וְלַקְּהִלָּה.
Ephesians 5:31–32
31 For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh. 32 This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. (NASB)
Genesis 2:24
24 For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. (NASB)
Paul uses the Torah as a Proof Text for our relationship with the Messiah, that we will have an intimate covenant relationship with the Messiah according to Ephesians 5:31-32. This is detailed according to Genesis 2:24 such that we will leave this world to be joined with the Christ. The Torah has not passed away.
