2 Corinthians 9:7
The Torah does contain passages that emphasize the importance of giving with a willing and purposeful heart. (2 Cor. 9:7) For example, in Exodus 25:2 we read, “Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering.” This verse highlights the importance of giving willingly and from the heart, which aligns with the concept of giving with purpose. Also, in Deuteronomy 15:10 we read, “You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand.” This passage emphasizes that giving should be done without reluctance or grief, reflecting the idea of purposeful and cheerful giving. These verses underscore the value of giving with intention and a willing heart, similar to the concept found in 2 Corinthians 9:7. This is how Paul taught Torah, the Torah has not passed away!
