2 Thessalonians 3:13
יג וְאַתֶּם, אַחַי, אַל יִרְפּוּ יְדֵיכֶם בַּעֲשִׂיַּת הַטּוֹב.

2 Thessalonians 3:13
3:13 But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary of doing good. (NASB)

Paul writes “Be Not Weary of doing good” in 2 Thessalonians 3:13. There are several parallels in the Torah to the concept of not growing weary of doing good. For example, Deuteronomy 15:7-8 states, “If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.” This passage emphasizes the importance of continually doing good by helping those in need. Leviticus 19:18 encourages persistent acts of kindness and love towards others. And Exodus 23:4-5 highlights the importance of doing good even towards those who may not be friendly towards us. These examples from the Torah align with the principle in 2 Thessalonians 3:13 of not growing weary in doing good. This is how Paul taught Torah, the Torah has not passed away!
