Galatians 5:1
ה הַמָּשִׁיחַ שִׁחְרֵר אוֹתָנוּ אֱלֵי חֵרוּת, לָכֵן עִמְדוּ וְאַל תִּכָּנְעוּ שׁוּב לְעֹל הָעַבְדוּת.
There is a Torah parallel to this concept that Paul is describing to not be entangled again with the yoke of slavery (Galatians 5:1) This concept can be found in Leviticus 26:13, which states, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves. And I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect.” Notice how this verse emphasizes the freedom that God provided to us by delivering us from slavery. Note how this is similar to the message in Galatians 5:1 about the freedom found in Christ. This emphasizes how God set us free to serve Him in the way He wants to be served according to the scriptures. This demonstrates how the Torah has not passed away!
