1 Corinthians 10:31

1 Corinthians 10:31
10:31 Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (NASB)

The Torah emphasizes the importance of living a life that honors and glorifies God in all aspects like we read Paul teaching in 1 Corinthians 10:31. For example, Exodus 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before me.” This first commandment highlights the exclusivity and priority of worshiping God alone, implying that our actions should reflect His glory. In addition, Leviticus 22:31-32 states, “Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord. Do not profane my holy name, for I must be acknowledged as holy by the Israelites. I am the Lord, who made you holy.” This stresses the importance of living in a way that honors God’s holiness. These verses underscore the principle of dedicating every aspect of life to God’s glory, a concept echoed in 1 Corinthians 10:31. Living with this mindset can transform even the mundane into acts of worship. Notice this is how Paul taught Torah, the Torah has not passed away!
