יד אֲבָל אַתָּה עֲמֹד בַּדְּבָרִים אֲשֶׁר לָמַדְתָּ וַאֲשֶׁר מְצָאתָם נְכוֹנִים, שֶׁהֲרֵי יוֹדֵעַ אַתָּה מִמִּי לָמַדְתָּ

3:14 You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, (NASB)
There is a Torah parallel to the concept “Continue In Truth” that we find in the NT text (2 Timothy 3:14). For example, in Deuteronomy 6:4-9, the Shema emphasizes the importance of loving God with all your heart and keeping His commandments always before you, integrating them into daily life and continuously teaching them to future generations. This echoes the principle of continuing in truth, as it calls for a consistent adherence to and transmission of God’s commands and teachings. The Torah’s focus on living by God’s commandments aligns closely with the idea of steadfastly remaining in the truth. Reflecting on these verses, it becomes clear that truth and adherence to God’s word are foundational to a life of faith and integrity. This is how Paul taught Torah, the Torah has not passed away!
