John 15:9
ט כְּשֵׁם שֶׁהָאָב אוֹהֵב אוֹתִי כֵּן גַּם אֲנִי אוֹהֵב אֶתְכֶם. עִמְדוּ בְּאַהֲבָתִי.

John 15:9
15:9 “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. (NASB)

In John 15:9, Jesus says, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.” This concept of continuing in love has its roots in the Torah. For example, Leviticus 19:18 “You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.” This commandment emphasizes the importance of love and compassion toward others, forming the foundation of ethical conduct and relationships within the community. Love and compassion are central themes in both the Torah and the NT, reflecting the enduring and universal nature of this fundamental value. This is how Yeshua was teaching Torah, the Torah has not passed away!
