There are parallels in the Torah to the concept of laying hold of eternal life, as mentioned in 1 Timothy 6:19. For example, the Torah emphasizes that following God’s commandments leads to life. In Deuteronomy 30:19-20, it states, “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses.
