יז הִזָּהֲרוּ מִבְּנֵי אָדָם, כִּי יִמְסְרוּ אֶתְכֶם לְסַנְהֶדְרִיּוֹת וְיַלְקוּ אֶתְכֶם בְּבָתֵּי הַכְּנֶסֶת שֶׁלָּהֶם.

There are parallels in the Torah to the concept of “Beware of Men” as we read according to Matthew 10:17.
