1 Corinthians 15:58
1 Corinthians 15:58
15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (KJV)
Paul according to 1 Corinthians 15:58 encourages believers to be steadfast and unmovable. The Torah does emphasize the importance of being steadfastness and immovability in several instances. For example, in the book of Deuteronomy, Moses urges the Israelites to remain steadfast in their commitment to God’s Torah. Deuteronomy 10:20 states, “You shall fear the LORD your God; you shall serve Him and cling to Him, and you shall swear by His name.” In Exodus, the Israelites are commanded to remain steadfast in their faith despite the challenges they face during their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. Exodus 14:13 states, “Moses answered the people, ‘Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today.’” Again, these examples share the common theme of steadfastness and immovability in the face of adversity. The Torah has not passed away!
