1 Peter 3:14

1 Peter 3:14
3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; (KJV)

Peter also says “Be Not Troubled” according to 1 Peter 3:14. In the Torah, there are several passages that convey a similar message of not being troubled or afraid. For example, in Deuteronomy 31:6 we are told to me Be strong and courageous. This verse encourages us to be strong and courageous, assuring us that God is with us and we should not be troubled. In Deuteronomy 20:1 we are reassured to not be troubled by our enemies, as God is with us and will protect us. In Numbers 14:9 we are told about the importance of trusting in God’s protection and not being troubled by the nations, or for Israel by the people in the Eretz Yisrael. These passages from the Torah parallel the message in 1 Peter 3:14 by encouraging believers to trust in God’s presence and protection, and not to be troubled by threats or terror. This is how Peter was teaching the Torah, the Torah has not passed away!
