Romans 12:16

Romans 12:16
12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. (KJV)

Paul teaches us to “Be Not Conceited” according to Romans 12:16. In the Torah, there are passages that convey a similar message of humility and avoiding conceit. For example, in Deuteronomy 8:2-3 we are instructed on the importance of humility and recognizing our dependence on God. In Leviticus 19:15 we are instructed on the importance of treating everyone with fairness and not showing partiality, which aligns with the message of humility. In Numbers 12:3 this is emphasized in relation to the humility of Moshe, serving as an example for others to follow. These passages from the Torah parallel the message in Romans 12:16 by encouraging humility, fairness, and unity among people. This is how Paul was teaching Torah, the Torah has not passed away!
