Revelation 2:10

Revelation 2:10
2:10 ‘Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. (NASB)

The concept of being faithful unto death, as mentioned in Revelation 2:10, is indeed present in the Tanakh that are founded upon Torah principles of worshiping and praying to God, and not being idolaters. For example, the Hebrew Bible contains examples of individuals who remained faithful to God in the face of death. For instance, Daniel in the lions’ den (Daniel 6) and the three men in the fiery furnace (Daniel 3) are examples of faithfulness unto death, though these accounts are found in the book of Daniel, not in the Torah. These things illustrate the importance of the commands even unto death and provide a Torah based source text for Revelation 2:10. The Torah has not passed away!
