Titus 2:5

Titus 2:5
2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. (KJV)

Paul in Titus 2:5, advises women to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, and obedient to their own husbands, so that the word of God is not blaspheme. We note the Torah parallels to these concepts. Being discreet and chaste is emphasized in various places in the Torah. The Torah encourages everyone to be good and do good deeds. In Leviticus 19:18, it says, “Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.” The Torah also emphasizes the importance of living in a way that honors God and His commandments. In Leviticus 22:32, it says, “Do not profane my holy name, for I must be acknowledged as holy by the Israelites. I am the LORD, who made you holy.” Note how the NT demonstrates the Torah has not passed away.
