1 Corinthians 6:9
ט אוֹ שֶׁמָּא אֵינְכֶם יוֹדְעִים כִּי עוֹשֵׂי עָוֶל לֹא יִירְשׁוּ אֶת מַלְכוּת הָאֱלֹהִים? אַל תִּטְעוּ;לֹא זוֹנִים וְלֹא עוֹבְדֵי אֱלִילִים, לֹא מְנָאֲפִים וְלֹא עוֹשֵׂי זִמָּה וְלֹא יוֹדְעֵי מִשְׁכַּב זָכָר
1 Corinthians 6:9
6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, (KJV)
Paul speaks about not being deceived and inheriting the kingdom of God in 1 Cor. 6:9-10. In the Torah, there are several passages that emphasize the importance of not being deceived and staying true to the God of Israel. For example, in Deuteronomy 11:16 we are warned to be vigilant and not let their hearts be deceived into idolatry. In Leviticus 19:4 we are again warned not to be deceived by false gods and remaining faithful to the Lord. In Deuteronomy 13:1-3 we are again being warned again against being deceived by false prophets and emphasizes the importance of staying true to God. These passages from the Torah parallel the message in 1 Corinthians 6:9 by warning against deception and encouraging faithfulness to God’s commandments. This is how Paul was teaching Torah, the Torah has not passed away!
