Hebrews 11:18
יח הוּא שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר לוֹ, ״כִּי בְיִצְחָק יִקָּרֵא לְךָ זָרַע״, (בראשית כא׳ יב׳)
Hebrews 11:18
18 it was he to whom it was said, “In Isaac your descendants shall be called.” (NASB)
Genesis 21:2–3
2 So Sarah conceived and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the appointed time of which God had spoken to him. (NASB)
We note here that according to Hebrews 11:18 the author of Hebrews uses the Torah to prove concepts of faith, righteousness, and resurrection. (Genesis 21:2) In addition to this Hebrews also notes the significance and importance of being associated with Israel the descendants of Abraham as a part of our faith in the Messiah Yeshua. This is important because we can’t divorce the Torah or Israel from our faith. The Torah has not passed away.
