1 John 3:22
כב וְכָל אֲשֶׁר נְבַקֵּשׁ נְקַבֵּל מִמֶּנּוּ, מִפְּנֵי שֶׁשּׁוֹמְרִים אָנוּ אֶת מִצְווֹתָיו וְעוֹשִׂים אֶת הַטּוֹב בְּעֵינָיו.
1 John 3:22
22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. (NASB)
John makes a significant statement here in 1 John 3:22, saying that God answers our prayers when we keep His Torah. The reason being is we are not actively living a life of sin, but striving for the righteousness of God. These are huge spiritual implications, there is great value in obeying God’s word, keeping His commands, that affect us supernaturally. Most importantly, we are to do the things that are pleasing to Him. The Torah has not passed away!
