Hebrews 6:14

Hebrews 6:14
14 saying, “I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply you.” (NASB)
Genesis 22:17
17 indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies. (NASB)
Here in Hebrews 6:14 the author quotes from Genesis 22:17 to legitimize the interpretation of God’s people receiving the promised inheritance. The NT speaks of Abraham and the authors didn’t believe the Torah had passed away!
