Bits of Torah Truths – The Nations being Blessed, Paul Explains according to the Torah – Episode 112
Galatians 3:12
Galatians 3:12
12 However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, “He who practices them shall live by them.” (NASB)
Leviticus 18:5
5 ‘So you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, by which a man may live if he does them; I am the Lord. (NASB)
Paul says that the Torah is not by faith here in Galatians 3:12 quoting from the Torah Leviticus 18:5. He says this because the Torah is something to be lived out. It is the application of our lives to living in righteousness and holiness. It is a matter of faithfulness to God. This is why Paul wrote that the Torah is not of faith.
