1 Peter 2:22
כב הוּא אֲשֶׁר חֵטְא לֹא עָשָׂה וְלֹא נִמְצְאָה מִרְמָה בְּפִיו; (ישעיהו נג׳ ט׳)

1 Peter 2:22
2:22 WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH; (NASB)

Isaiah 53:9
53:9 His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. (NASB)

Here in 1 Peter 2:22, Peter quoted Isaiah 53:9 which speaks of Yeshua being rich at death due to His good deeds. The concept of righteousness as a treasure is explored in both the Torah and rabbinic literature. The New Covenant also teaches that righteousness comes from obedience to the Torah. It is not merely hearing the Torah but obeying it that leads to righteousness. The emphasis here is on Yeshua who obeyed the and taught the Torah all the way until his death as the scriptures say this righteousness is pleasing unto God. The Torah has not passed away!
