Hebrews 10:17
Hebrews 10:17
17 “And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” (NASB)
Jeremiah 31:34
34 “And they shall not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” (NASB)
Here in Hebrews 10:17 the author of Hebrews mentions the concepts of sin and forgiveness. These are Torah centric truths that permeate throughout all of the scriptures. This suggests to us how the Torah has not passed away and remains an important part of our understanding of who we are as God’s children and people. The Torah has not passed away.
