Bits of Torah Truths – Sarah and Hagar speak of Faith and Salvation according to Paul – Episode 116

Galatians 4:30–31

Galatians 4:30–31
30 But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, For the son of the bondwoman shall not be an heir with the son of the free woman.” 31 So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the free woman. (KJV)

Genesis 21:10
10 Therefore she said to Abraham, “Drive out this maid and her son, for the son of this maid shall not be an heir with my son Isaac.” (KJV)

Here Paul argues from the Torah how we are sons and daughters of the free woman and not a bond woman. Paul quotes Genesis 21:10 in Galatians 4:30. The idea here from the Torah is that salvation comes by Faith and not by our own means, illustrated in Sarah and Hagar in the Torah.
