Galatians 3:11
יא דָּבָר בָּרוּר הוּא שֶׁאִישׁ לֹא יֻצְדַּק לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים עַל–יְדֵי הַתּוֹרָה, שֶׁכֵּן צַדִּיק בֶּאֱמוּנָתוֹ יִחְיֶה. (חבקוק ב׳ ד׳)
Galatians 3:11
11 Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “The righteous man shall live by faith.” (NASB)
Habakkuk 2:4
4 “Behold, as for the proud one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous will live by his faith. (NASB)
Here Paul uses the example of Avraham Avinu and the prophet habakkuk in Galatians 3:11 saying the same thing he said previously, that the Torah was not given for a man to earn his own salvation. Paul quotes the Torah and the prophets concluding that a righteous man will live by faith.
