Bits of Torah Truths – Prophecy and Torah Fulfilled – Episode 29

Luke 24:44–45

Luke 24:44–45
44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures (KJV)

We note a few significant things about Luke 24:44-45. Here Yeshua speaks of what he did dying upon the cross as a fulfillment of the Torah and the prophets. The significance of Luke 24:45 is how the disciples needed Yeshua to enable them to understand these things. If you are trying to figure out how Yeshua fulfilled the Torah and the Prophets, these verses show us how we need faith in Yeshua first I order to understand these things. This illustrates how faith always comes first!
