Acts 16:13
יג בְּיוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת יָצָאנוּ דֶּרֶךְ שַׁעַר הָעִיר אֶל שְׂפַת נָהָר, אֶל מָקוֹם שֶׁחֲשַׁבְנוּהוּ לִמְקוֹם תְּפִלָּה, וְיָשַׁבְנוּ וְדִבַּרְנוּ אֶל הַנָּשִׁים הַנֶּאֱסָפוֹת.
Acts 16:13
13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither. (KJV)
Here in Acts 16:13 we read how Prayer was customarily made on the Sabbath Day. Prayer is commanded in the Torah in the lives of God’s people. (Devarim / Deuteronomy 6:4-11, 8:10).
