1 Corinthians 3:20
כ וְעוֹד׃ ״יהוה יֹדֵעַ מַחְשְׁבוֹת אָדָם, כִּי–הֵמָּה הָבֶל.״ (תהילים צד׳ יא׳)
Tehillim / Psalm 94:11–12
יא יְֽהוָ֗ה יֹ֭דֵעַ מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת אָדָ֑ם כִּי־הֵ֥מָּה הָֽבֶל׃ יב אַשְׁרֵ֤י׀ הַגֶּ֣בֶר אֲשֶׁר־תְּיַסְּרֶ֣נּוּ יָּ֑הּ וּֽמִתּוֹרָתְךָ֥ תְלַמְּדֶֽנּוּ׃
1 Corinthians 3:20
20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. (KJV)
Tehillim / Psalm 94:11–12
11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, That they are vanity. 12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, And teachest him out of thy law; (KJV)
We note how Paul quoted from Tehillim / Psalms 94:11-12 in 1 Corinthians 3:20. Here the Psalmist states that God teaches man out of His Torah. And in 1 Corinthians 3:20 Paul is showing the futility of man. So, the idea is that we need God’s Torah for instruction and truth. The Torah has not passed away!
