2 Timothy 3:15
טו וּמִנְּעוּרֶיךָ אַתָּה יוֹדֵעַ אֶת כִּתְבֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ הַיְכוֹלִים לְהַחְכִּימְךָ לִישׁוּעָה עַל–יְדֵי הָאֱמוּנָה בַּמָּשִׁיחַ יֵשׁוּעַ.
2 Timothy 3:15
15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (NASB)
In 2 Timothy 3:15 Paul said that Timothy had known the “Holy Scriptures” (Torah/Prophets) since his youth. This provides evidence for the significance of knowing the Torah and the Prophets of which Paul says leads to salvation and faith in Yeshua. If the Torah and Prophets lead you away from Yeshua, Paul says your faith isn’t according to the Scriptures, you have a different kind of faith. The Torah has not passed away!
