1 Timothy 1:8
ח אֲנַחְנוּ יוֹדְעִים שֶׁהַתּוֹרָה טוֹבָה אִם חַיִּים בָּהּ לְפִי חֻקֶּיהָ.

8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; (KJV)
What Paul is saying here is quite significant. This means that the Torah is beneficial when it is used in accordance with its intended purpose. Paul makes this statement that the Torah is good if one uses it right in 1 Timothy 1:8. The point is that the Torah was not meant for man to earn his salvation. The Torah was given as a way of life for God’s people who are already saved and in a covenant relationship. The Torah has not passed away!
