Bits of Torah Truths – Paul Kept Torah Ministering to Those Who didn’t Have Torah – Episode 90
1 Corinthians 9:21
כא לְמַעַן אֵלֶּה שֶׁאֵין לָהֶם תּוֹרָה אֲנִי כְּמוֹ בְּלִי תּוֹרָה –– אַף שֶׁאֵינֶנִּי עוֹמֵד בְּלֹא תּוֹרַת אֱלֹהִים בִּהְיוֹתִי כָּפוּף לְתוֹרַת הַמָּשִׁיחַ –– כְּדֵי לְהַשִּׂיג אֶת אֵלֶּה שֶׁאֵין לָהֶם תּוֹרָה;
We notice how Paul describes the place of the Torah here in 1 Corinthians 9:21? Paul is very cryptic in how he writes it can be a little confusing taking a simple read of the text. The point is that the non-Jewish person who is in the Messiah is under the Torah in the Messiah. This is an important observation since the Torah has not passed away for God’s people. Here Paul is explaining how God’s Torah is an important part of the lives of God’s people. Especially for those who are in Christ (במשיח).
