James 2:8
8 If, however, you are fulfilling the royal law, according to the Scripture, โ€œYou shall love your neighbor as yourself,โ€ you are doing well. (NASB)

Leviticus 19:18
18 โ€˜You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord. (NASB)

Here in James 2:8, James quotes from the Torah according to Leviticus 19:18 which is a command to love your neighbor as yourself. Note that this command to love our neighbor is a command that Yeshua supported and commanded his disciples to obey. These things among others demonstrate how the Torah has not passed away!
