James 1:25
כה אֲבָל הַמַּשְׁקִיף בַּתּוֹרָה הַשְּׁלֵמָה, תּוֹרַת הַחֵרוּת, וְעוֹמֵד בָּהּ מִבְּלִי לִהְיוֹת שׁוֹמֵעַ–וְשׁוֹכֵחַ, אֶלָּא עוֹשֶׂה בְּפֹעַל –– אִישׁ זֶה מְבֹרָךְ יִהְיֶה בְּמַעֲשֵׂהוּ.
James 1:25
25 But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man shall be blessed in what he does. (NASB)
Here according to James 1:25, James states that the Torah of God is freedom (תּוֹרַת הַחֵרוּת) and he is speaking to those who look intently at the Torah of Freedom and commends those who abide by the Torah of God. He says we should be hearers and doers and not forgetful. This is how James encourages believers to keep the Torah in the Messiah Yeshua. The Torah has not passed away.
