Torah refers to God as a father figure in various places. God is often referred to as “Avienu” or “Our Father” and this term is used to express the close relationship between God and His people, and to emphasize God’s love and care for His children. (Deuteronomy 1:31) Similarly the Author of Hebrews is teaching this Torah based concept in Hebrews 1:5 quoting messianic texts such as Psalms 2:7. This supports the idea that the Torah has not passed away.
