Bits of Torah Truths – Faith Today is the Same as in Ancient Times – Episode 99
2 Corinthians 4:13
יג מִכֵּיוָן שֶׁיֵּשׁ לָנוּ אוֹתָהּ רוּחַ שֶׁל אֱמוּנָה, כַּכָּתוּב ״הֶאֱמַנְתִּי כִּי אֲדַבֵּר״, (תהילים קטז׳ י׳) גַּם אֲנַחְנוּ מַאֲמִינִים וְלָכֵן גַּם מְדַבְּרִים;
2 Corinthians 4:13
13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore also we speak; (NASB)
Notice how Paul connects his faith with the faith of the ancient people according to the Psalms. What Paul is teaching here is how faith doesn’t change in 2 Corinthians 4:13. Have you ever heard it said that faith is different today now that we have Yeshua? ie. The Torah has passed away? This illustrates how our faith is the same as even in the days of the giving of the Torah. The Torah has not passed away!
