Luke 16:17
יז אֲבָל נָקֵל לַשָּׁמַיִם וְלָאָרֶץ לַחֲלֹף מֵאֲשֶׁר יִפֹּל תָּג אֶחָד מִן הַתּוֹרָה. (תהילים קיט׳ פט׳//ישעיהו מ׳ ח) ׳
16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. (KJV 1900)
Isaiah 40:8
ח יָבֵ֥שׁ חָצִ֖יר נָ֣בֵֽל צִ֑יץ וּדְבַר־אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ יָק֥וּם לְעוֹלָֽם׃ Luke 16:17
40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: But the word of our God shall stand for ever. (KJV 1900)
Here in Luke 16:17 we read a very significant statement. Yeshua says that it is easier for heaven & earth to pass away than for the Torah to pass away. We note the reference to Isaiah 40:8 that states how the word of God is established forever. This again demonstrates for us how all of God’s word is eternal and how the Torah has not passed away!
