Acts 15:20
Acts 15:20
15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. (KJV)
Here in Acts 15:20 we see it commanded to not eat Blood. It is important to note that the Torah also commands us against eating blood according to Leviticus 7:26, which states: “You shall not eat any blood, whether that of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.” This prohibition is a significant aspect of the dietary laws in Judaism and Christianity according to the scriptures. Note also that the process of koshering meat is to remove the blood and involves salting and soaking in water. These things demonstrate that the Torah has not passed away.
